Daily intake of vitamins has long become a habit to most Americans. Lately, there is rising concern regarding the quality of vitamin products. Given the horror stories about the poor quality of various products, including vitamins, produced in China, more and more people tend to buy the vitamins made in USA.

China is the largest producer of vitamin C, as well as other similar products. In fact, they hold more than ninety percent of total production. Their price is very low, but so is the quality. Unfortunately, the price is what matters. That's why mot multivitamin products contain at least a few components that are made there, especially when it comes to vitamin C.

Unfortunately, in production of these components they simply don't follow the same rules Western manufacturers do. Their products often don't meet usual standards, or simply cannot pass usual quality control. In many of those product controls discovered different chemicals and toxins, even dangerous medications. It's time to make people aware of these facts. You need to know the origin of your product.

It became more difficult to determine the origin of your product. Thanks to the fact all vitamins produced in China are considerably cheaper, it is easy to assume some of them will find a way to most multivitamin products manufactured elsewhere. Even if your product is manufactured in USA, you have no guarantee it isn't placed in a container produced in Asia. All in all, most product you will find in your pharmacy in fact contain some components that came from China.

Most products produced in China are several times cheaper than the same products made in America. Manufacturer of various multivitamins buy part of the ingredients of their products, but they usually don't mention this fact on their labels. This means that it could be a possibility that customers buy Chinese products without being aware of it.

Another great problem is packaging. Containers are often manufactured in Asia, and they don't meet quality standards either. Healthy product in contaminated package is something you wouldn't want to buy. Unfortunately, you don't really know if it is contaminated, and there are so many horrible stories about dangerous chemicals used in process of production.

It's no wonder people became so concerned. Some of them were taking vitamins to improve their health condition, and they were actually taking dangerous drugs and other harmful ingredients. Maybe the final product was manufactured in States, but some components might be produced elsewhere. Considering the price of different Asian products, and the portion of the market they occupy, it isn't hard to make a conclusion.

Cheap components are used in production of expensive products, and it really is something to b concerned about. Even when the product is labeled as American, you cannot be sure all components came from there. There is no guarantee for their origin, and no one is saying anything about packaging.

Of course, some of the manufacturers are aware of the situation. Their products are considerably more expensive, but all the components have guaranteed origin. Purchasing cheap, untested products can harm your health. When you would like to buy vitamins made in USA, double check the label and each component's origin.
