As I slowly work through the changes that I am making in my lifestyle and learning more about what healthy foods to eat, which both my wife and I are still amazed with.  I can easily see how most things happen when it comes to poor eating habits and gaining weight.  Even though my cravings for white rice everyday are still there, I've learned more what it was doing to me weight wise or at least how the rice addiction was contributing to my overall weight.  On the other hand, it's kind of funny how my passion for sodas is not there anymore.  Everyday I watch people all around me drinking a Coke or other soft drink and I have no interest in having one like I once did months ago.

For me, that's pretty cool and something that I believe is an achievement by itself.  Although my choices of healthy foods to eat is something that is still going through the baby stages after only a couple of months, I still feel an enormous change in myself already and more awareness as to what we are buying, preparing, cooking and eating. 

I also updated my current stats today for last Sunday's weigh-in (I hate digital scales) as I forgot to post the update due to the holiday weekend.  There was only a 1.5 pound loss for the week of September 4, 2011, but at least it is a downward trend and not something that is going back up. 

I am also going to be adding a section of pages for recipes and ideas that I am working with based on the diet solution program.  I should have some pages ready this week and it will give you a better idea and more insight into some the foods and meals that I am eating.
